Don't Make These Home Acne Remedy MistakesWritten By David WalkerA natural acne skin care regime has to be far better than using prescribed drugs for any number of reasons, but lets just take one: Side Effects.
You may think I'm overstating this, but having a 'quick fix' for your acne skin care is hardly the best way to go when you're with your skin for life! You owe it to yourself to ensure you're using the very best skin care treatment, not based on what's happening at the prom tomorrow night, or even just on dollars and cents. There are too many side effects to concern yourself with the prescription medicines that promise acne skin care solutions. The point is, why would you not try to get an acne skin care regime that is natural, if one exists (and they do)? Do you not owe it to yourself to do so - to at least TRY and find such a system? Would you not want natural products to be placed onto your skin rather than chemicals? Would you not want to enrich and enhance your skin, quite apart from ensuring that acne is appropriately treated? The problem with many acne sufferers is that they 'rush the gate' in their panic towards a solution. They know certain topical or prescribed medications will 'do the trick' and because they're desperate for a solution they go for them, without even examining the natural acne skin care alternatives that exist out there - often as far away as their pantry cupboard. Acne can be caused from a variety of factors, including a blockage of pores created by bacteria buildup and which requires the use of cleansers to clean the pores. Using effective and safe cleansers is key to achieving success in your battle with acne and quest for great skin care. The use of neem leaves for instance is a very good natural cleanser and can be taken with water. But there are many others too. Using a good gentle wash in warm water, with lemon or other natural ingredients, can do your acne wonders, not to mention for your overall skin care health. What you eat is also of great importance. You need to ensure that your intake of fresh fruit and vegetables is not only maintained but, if anything, enhanced. You need to eat as much fresh produce as possible for maximum, natural intake of vitamins and minerals. Many natural skin care ingredients exist and just what suits you depends on your skin type, age, lifestyle and other factors. You need to do some research, of which there are great sites (my own, if I might boast) that will help you in this process. You then need to take into account your medical history and condition and in particular be very aware of allergies, pregnancy, circulatory and other issues that you may have. One thing to be careful of also is the 'natural' ingredients that in fact contain unnatural (chemical, preservative) and other ingredients. Many products will talk about being natural or 'green' etc without actually being what you need. Sourcing good quality, natural ingredients is important. So what can you do now by way of activating a good natural acne skin care treatment regime? Tea tree oil is a very well known acne natural remedy, although its use should be carefully monitored to ensure that artificial additives are not being used. Tea tree oil comes from the melaleuca alternifoliais tree and contains a substance called terpenes, which has been proven as being very effective in combating acne. There are also generally very few side effects. Aloe vera is another acne skin care treatment favorite and is not just an acne-fighter, but also as a great body cleanser too with the gel from the plant being highly regarded as a great way to receive good acne skin care treatment. It can be taken either internally or externally. Aloe vera's watery gel is very good for skin care treatment and particularly good as a natural acne fighter. Both zinc and vitamin E are useful to combat acne. Zinc (taken in capsule or pill form) is a well known as a mineral to boost the immune system but it is also very good when used for skin care treatment, while vitamin E is a natural antioxidant. Vitamin E is very beneficial good for the skin and can often be found in capsule form, which often contain glycerin, soybean oil and water. Skin cleansing is one of the most important things you could do in ensuring your skin is best able to keep itself clear of acne. There are, once again, various natural cleansers, but consider using a combination like lemon and glycerine to apply to your face at bedtime. You need to wash carefully and frequently with a good cleanser or just with your natural ingredient-based water wash. Also make sure your hair is clean and away from your face. Mostly though, good acne skin care treatment requires a good diet, use of good cleansers and good use of natural-based products.
